Japanese Chirimen Fabric Shochikubai Colored Violet is a high-quality fabric woven using traditional Japanese weaving techniques. The Shochikubai pattern is composed of three auspicious elements: pine, bamboo, and plum. These elements express “cleanliness, innocence, and integrity,” and are important symbols in Japanese culture, often represented in traditional art and crafts. Printed on a very elegant black and violet background, this fabric offers a crepe-like and fluid texture, with excellent drape. It is perfect for all types of sewing projects for elegant clothing (dresses, shirts…) or for crafts such as making accessories or decorating interiors.

To optimise the cleaning of your fabrics, it is recommended to use a mild, hypoallergenic detergent. Avoid harsh detergents that can damage fabric fibres and cause discolouration or premature wear.
When washing delicate fabrics in the washing machine, it is very important not to overload the machine, as this can compress the fibres and damage them. A delicate cycle at 30° maximum will keep the original look longer.
Wash fabrics of the same colour together to avoid fading or unwanted colour transfer. It is also recommended to use a laundry net to protect delicate fabrics during washing. Laundry netting helps prevent excessive rubbing and stretching which can damage the fabric fibres and cause the gold or silver appliqués on some of our fabrics to fade.

Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded and that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. The returned fabric must be in perfect condition and unaltered.
