This is a magnificent Kuro Tomesode kimono in black, adorned with stunning flying crane motifs, complemented by touches of golden embroidery and golden Tanabe Noshi stripes with pearlescent effects. this kimono is in good condition and is crafted from a beautiful quality crepe fabric by the Yamato brand, a kimono boutique founded in Tokyo in 1917. Yamato is renowned for its long-standing tradition of quality and craftsmanship in kimono-making. the Tanabe Noshi pattern is an elegant variation of the Noshi, a traditional Japanese ornament symbolizing longevity and prosperity. The kimono has a slightly noticeable color loss in the upper left corner (which can be retouched by a professional) and a barely visible wear mark on the collar due to use. however, the exterior and patterns remain in very good condition.
