The blue multi-patterned squares Japanese fabric from DIY District is ideal for adding a traditional touch to your DIY creations. Made from cotton, this fabric is printed with traditional Japanese motifs such as Asanoha, temari ball, Sakura, Tsuru (crane), and Yagasuri in square shapes. The patterns are printed in varied shades of blue with golden tones, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to your sewing projects. Whether you’re making clothing, patchwork, or other creative projects, this fabric ensures perfect finishes and exceptional durability.

Care tips

Neutral detergent

To optimise the cleaning of your fabrics, it is recommended to use a mild, hypoallergenic detergent. Avoid harsh detergents that can damage fabric fibres and cause discolouration or premature wear.

Washing machine - delicate fabrics

When washing delicate fabrics in the washing machine, it is very important not to overload the machine, as this can compress the fibres and damage them. A delicate cycle at 30° maximum will keep the original look longer.

Wash fabrics of the same colour together to avoid fading or unwanted colour transfer.
It is also recommended to use a laundry net to protect delicate fabrics during washing. Laundry netting helps prevent excessive rubbing and stretching which can damage the fabric fibres and cause the gold or silver appliqués on some of our fabrics to fade.
