Quilt Gate’s grey Hyakka Ryoran Japanese fabric is made of high quality cotton. It is decorated with chrysanthemum flowers with golden touches that blow in the wind. The fabric is comfortable to wear and is perfect for sewing, patchwork and hobby work. It is inspired by the traditional Japanese ‘hyakka ryoran’ pattern, which features flowers and plants framed by abstract lines.

Care tips

Neutral detergent

To optimise the cleaning of your fabrics, it is recommended to use a mild, hypoallergenic detergent. Avoid harsh detergents that can damage fabric fibres and cause discolouration or premature wear.

Washing machine - delicate fabrics

When washing delicate fabrics in the washing machine, it is very important not to overload the machine, as this can compress the fibres and damage them. A delicate cycle at 30° maximum will keep the original look longer.

Wash fabrics of the same colour together to avoid fading or unwanted colour transfer.
It is also recommended to use a laundry net to protect delicate fabrics during washing. Laundry netting helps prevent excessive rubbing and stretching which can damage the fabric fibres and cause the gold or silver appliqués on some of our fabrics to fade.
